"I am but a pale light in the brilliance of your reflection" Anonymous. Beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandfather. Bonifacio (Boni ) Julian Lopez, passed away unexpectedly July 21, 2001. Boni was born November 18, 1939 in Puerto-de-Luna New Mexico and was a long time resident of Albuquerque. He was employed by American Furniture for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Fedelina (Lena) Lopez; his daughters: Julie Sanchez and husband, Michael, Sandra Archuleta and husband, Phillip, Tina Arechederra and husband, Ken; his son, James Lopez and fiance, Melissa Rogers of Henderson, Nevada; his six grandchildren, Laura, Phil and Joshua Archuleta, Daniel and Gabriel Arechederra and Andrew James Sanchez; one great-grandchild, Brianna Garibay; his parents, Julian and Teofila Lopez of Puerto de Luna, New Mexico; his sisters, Rita Griego, Lorraine Branch and husband, Dennis, Dolores Padilla and husband,, Sarafin and Amelia Doyon; his brothers, Andrew Lopez and wife, Viola, Horacio Lopez and wife, Sandra, Joe Lopez and wife, Lydia, Dan Lopez and wife, Linda, Robert Lopez, Chris Lopez and wife, Cathy and George Lopez and wife, Debra; his mother in law, Libby C de Baca; his sisters and brothers in law, Georgia and husband, Dan Lopez, the family of the late Sam C de Baca, Margie Douglass and husband, Harold, Ernie C de Baca and wife, Carmen, Pat Powers and husband, Jack, Jerry C de Baca and wife, Dale, Franses Wilmeth and husband, Bob, Elizabeth Jiminez and husband, Pete, Roseanne Shultz and husband, Mike; his Godchildren, Yvonne Jone, Stephanie Moon, Teresa Lyczkoski, Estevan Trujillo and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by Felipe C de Baca, Sam C de Baca, Tony C de Baca, Pio C de Baca, Mike Doyon, Max Griego and a long time friend Florian Mirabal. Mr. Lopez was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Deacon Arcenio Sanchez and Deacon Dan D. Lopez, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at San Martin Church with final viewing at the church after 10:30 a.m. Father Bill Sanchez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Andy Lopez, Horacio Lopez, Joe Lopez, Dan Lopez, Robert Lopez, Chris Lopez, George Lopez, Jerry C de Baca, Ernie C de Baca, David Griego in behalf of the late Max Griego. Honorary will be Harold (Doug) Douglass, Dennis Branch, Serafin (Cider) Padilla, Joshua Archuleta, Estevan Trujillo, Pete Jimenez and Dan D. Lopez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
