Domitilia Rebecca Baca, 80, a long time resident of Moriarty, NM passed away Friday, July 20, 2001 after a long illness. She was born March 29, 1921 in Duran, NM to Rumaldo L. and Carmelita Vigil-Parraz. She is survived by her sons, David Baca and his fiancee, Nora of Albuquerque, NM, Gilbert and his wife, Lorraine Parraz of Moriarty, NM; her daughters, Rita Anaya of California, Maria L. Romero of Moriarty, NM, Antonia Baca of Moriarty, NM, Linda Horton and her husband, Richard of Sedillo, NM; one brother, Joe Parraz of Albuquerque, NM; her sisters, Mary Chavez of Moriarty, NM, Emilia Gutierrez of Vaughn, NM; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Domitilia was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Baca, her brothers, Vincente, Bacilio, Leo, Andy, her parents, her sister, Linda Clark and her husband, Persona A. Baca. She was known by all as a very loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited Monday, July 23, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 24, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Father Anthony Martinez officiating. Pallbearers will be Charlie Parraz, Manuel Chavez, Mico Gutierrez, Joseph Parraz, Gilbert Parraz and Tommy Parraz. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Parraz and Robert Parraz. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
