Pinkie Sanders, 99, of Irving, TX passed away July 19, 2001 at her residence. Born March 5, 1902 in Brooklyn, Texas. Mrs. Sanders was employed as a mattress maker. She is survived by her sons, Lyndon W. Sanders, Sr. of Fredericksburg, TX, David D. Sanders of San Angelo, TX; daughters, Wanda S. Hodges of Irving, TX, Mary Helen Westergard of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2001, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001 at Beltline Rd. Church of Christ in Irving, with Dan Flournoy officiating. Interment will be in Maryneal Cemetery, Maryneal, TX.
