Connie Lee Joy, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Tuesday, July 3, 2001. She is survived by the husband of 44 years, James J. Joy; children, Barry L. Joy of T or C, NM, David A. Joy and wife, Tina of Rio Rancho, NM and Jamie K. Roberts of Sandia Park, NM; 8 grandchildren, James, Christopher, Sylvia, Ambrosia, Veronica, Tasha, Christina and Cynthia; 3 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Jacob and Breanna; sister, Sandra Dumas of San Diego, CA, and step father, Anton Trepina of San Diego, CA. Mrs. Joy worked with Hacienda Home Centers for 13 years. She was member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, July 9, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 10, 2001, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
