Obituary for Zehna

Byron (Buddy) L. Zehna, 61, born 4-27-40 in Trinidad, CO., passed away on October 24, 2001, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce; son and daughter-in-law, Frank & Stephanie Zehna; three grandchildren, Sallie, Joseph, & Nicolas, of Athens, Georgia; daughter, Pamela Perrine, of Manhattan Beach, CA; mother, Virginia Cordova Zehna and sister, Anita Thompson, of Denver, CO; numerous sister and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank C. Zehna, and sister, Joan Barton. Buddy worked in the automobile business for years in the Albuquerque area. He served as Sergeant in the US Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He loved to play golf and fish. He regularly attended Calvary of Albuquerque where he was active in the cancer ministry. Special thanks to Dr. Douglas Clark and the oncology staff Westside, and the skilled nursing staff at Kaseman Hospital. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. N.W. (3 blocks North of Paseo Del Norte), C.B. Blankenship, Assistant Pastor, Calvary of Albuquerque, officiating. .DMP
