Obituary for Gunn

Edsel L. Gunn, 74, a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou Gunn of Albuquerque; daughter, Shelley Jaus and husband, Rick of New York; son, Douglas Gunn and wife, Martha of Pennsylvania; and daughter, Tina West of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; brother, Troy Gunn and wife, Sara of Dallas, TX; sister, Lyda Wilbanks and husband, Phil of Frost, TX; sister-in-law, Betty Gunn of Dallas, TX; mother-in-law, Esther Roesch of Albuquerque; and many, many friends. Mr. Gunn worked at Sandia Laboratories for over 22 years. He then began working as Sales Manager with Commercial Radiator and worked with them for nine years. Mr. Gunn was a member of Hoffmantown Church. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2001, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. NE, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Larry E. Wills officiating. Private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
