Robert "Bob" Bennett, 65, a 30-year resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Michiko Bennett of Albuquerque; daughters, Diane Peterson and husband, Eric of Albuquerque and Vanessa Stueber and husband, Sean of Hilo, HI; grandchildren, Joshua, Elisa, and Bethany; brothers, Bill Bennett and Dick Bennett, both of Maryland; and sisters, Mary Frayley and Martha Miller, both of Maryland. Mr. Bennett was retired from the Air Force and then pursued a civil service career, retiring in 1998. He loved to be around people and was a friend to all. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Services will be held Friday, October 26, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at Manzano Baptist Church, 12411 Linn Dr. NE, with Pastor Bert Singletary officiating. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, October 25, 2001, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
