Obituary for Haynes

Viola L. Haynes, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at a local hospital in Albuquerque. She was born on July 3, 1914 near Paducah, TX. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. Haynes; granddaughter, Twuana Lynn Haynes; and grandson, Clay Verne Clymo. She is survived by her son, Clifford Eugene Haynes and wife, Naomi of Albuquerque; her daughter, Doris Clymo and husband, Verne of Fence Lake; five grandchildren, Mahona Burnett, Lawana Haynes, Russell Haynes, Ross Clymo and Curtis Clymo; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She and her husband Clifford moved from Post, TX to Pie Town, NM in 1946, where they owned and operated a ranch northwest of Pie Town. They retired because of Cliffords ill health and moved to Littlefield, TX in 1974. She was a loving wife and mother, and will be remembered for all the wonderful meals that she prepared for family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family. Services will be held Thursday, 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Randall Haynes officiating. Interment will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at the Terrace Cemetery in Post, TX. Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Clymo, Curtis Clymo, Russell Haynes, Verne Clymo, Ronnie Burnett, Joe Beal Haynes, Glen Perry, Joe Turner and Jimmie Zinn.
