Obituary for Kitts

Paul Kitts, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1935, died Thursday, March 22, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Kay Goffena and husband, Wayne of Wilsall, MT; two granddaughters, Codi Campbell and husband, John of Las Cruces and Kim White and husband, Vince; two great-grandchildren, Gauge White and Chyanne White; brother, Raymond Kitts, all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Kitts was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Edith Kitts in 1996. Mr. Kitts worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Kitts was also a member of the Lions Club. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Mark McKenzie, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kitts, Mackie Kitts, Gary Kitts, Bobby Kitts, Warren Woods and Dr. Michael Woods. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vince White, John Campbell, Raymond Kitts, Melvin Woods, Buford Selvy, Bernard Selvy, W.B. Kitts, Donald Kitts and Elmer Wilmath. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd.
