Obituary for Lapierre

Georges Henry LaPierre Jr., 68, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Aldercrest Nursing Home in Edmonds, Washington. He was a veteran of the Army as an Artillery Chief during the Korean War and retired from the local Carpenter's Union in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a photographer and artist throughout his life and especially after his retirement. Survivors include his six children: Robin, Belinda, Anita, Michelle, Paul, Claudine; five grandchildren: Mechelle, David, Eric, Charlene and Heather; his siblings: William, Paul and Ruth. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Henry LaPierre and Marie Alice Brisson LaPierre and his son, George Henry LaPierre, III. Memorial Services were held on Sunday, October 7, 2001 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Edmonds, Washington. Rev. Haydock officiated the services. Burial will be held later at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M.
