Obituary for Micklevitz

Mel Micklevitz, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, passed away on October 9, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Micklevitz of the family home; sons, David Micklevitz of Roswell, NM and Dale Micklevitz and wife, Deanne of Nebraska; daughter, Lori Schreiber of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Amber Wiggins and husband, David, David Micklevitz Jr. and wife, Mistie, Christopher Micklevitz and wife, Tara, Anthony Micklevitz, Jennifer Bach and husband, Clinton, Michelle Ross, Jason Ross and fiancé, Celina and Melanie Schreiber; great-grandchildren, Stephen, Stephanie, Jordan, Jessica, Ivy, Clayton and Chase and Cmaden; brothers, Laverne Micklevitz and wife, Shirley and Eugene Micklevitz; father in law, George Nickel and Edith Sullivan. He is also survived by his favorite dog,"Poco". He was in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. Melvin was a homebuilder and realtor here in Albuquerque for more than 20 years. He was a life member of the Elks 461, D.A.V., and the Homebuilders Association. Friends may visit Friday October 12, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd.
