Evelyn M. Carroll, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 17 years, died on November 5, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, LT. Colonel George B. Carroll (Rt. USAF) of the family home; and one son, George Carroll Jr. and wife Linda of Corrales. Evelyn was active in the Red Cross as a Gray Lady and a member of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW. Interment of cremains will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Blvd. 87120. French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. N.W.
