Obituary for Moore

Edward Charles Moore, born November 22, 1933 in Clinton, Iowa and formerly of Chicago, IL, died at home on Monday, January 8, 2001. His parents, James C. and Helen I. Moore preceded him. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1955 and received Bachelor and Master Degrees from the University of Chicago. He retired from the Illinois Cook County School System in 1994 after 26 years as a middle school teacher and moved to Albuquerque in 1998. Edward was also an avid motocyclist. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter, Anna (by a previous marriage) of Chicago; two brothers; two nieces; four nephews; and five grandnieces and grandnephews. Services will be held Saturday, 1:30 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold Ave. SE, with Rev. Randy Walquist officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
