Obituary for Kelly

Rose M. Kelly. The family of Rose wish to express their thanks for the thoughtfulness of her many friends in our time of grief. She passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2000 in Sun City West, AZ. Rose was born November 26, 1936 to Michael P. and Evelyn Buckley Malone in Panama, Iowa. She was a graduate of St. Catherine School of Nursing, Omaha, NE. She practiced nursing in Kansas and North Dakota before moving to Albuquerque in 1968. As a psychiatric nurse, Rose worked with a number of New Mexico medical facilities in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. She continued this work after moving to Arizona in 1997. Rose as a long-time member of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Community. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) of Phoenix; son, Hugh and wife, Karen of Waxahachie, TX; and son, Sean and wife, Ann Spilman of Port Orange, FL; and four grandchildren, Thomas, Kevin, Alanna, and Bridget. Services were held in Sun City West on January 4, 2001. Internment will be at the Lakes of Kilarney, Ireland.
