Obituary for Giancola

Ann Giancola, 37, a resident of Albuquerque died Friday, January 5, 2001. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Pongetti of Albuquerque; father, John Giancola of Chicago; brothers, Peter Giancola of Baltimore, Maryland, and Tony Giancola and wife, Darleene Edwards of Albuquerque; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ann was a graduate of Sandia High School class of 1981. In 1986, she graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Immediately following she worked on the Joint Services Command and Control System and the Apache Attack Helicopter Flight Management System. Ann was also a student of the violin and worked at the Robertson & Sons Violin Shop. She loved her cats, Gretsky and White Kitty. Ann was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alliance for the Mentally Ill of New Mexico, 6000 Marble Ave. NE Ste. 8 Albuquerque, NM 87108.
