Julius A. Rigo, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, passed away May 9, 2001. He enjoyed many sporting activities including baseball, fishing and horseracing. Mr. Rigo was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Rigo in 1942. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose Rigo of the family home; sons, Bob Rigo and wife, Alice and Bill Rigo all of Albuquerque; daughters, Rosemarie Mendenhall and husband, Carroll of Upper Lake, CA, Linda McDermott and husband, James of McIntosh, NM, and Mary Helmer and husband, John of Edgewood; 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 14, 2001, 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Hillcrest Funeral Home 225 San Mateo NE 265-5959
