Obituary for Madray

Homer A. Madray, age 89, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 2:45 p.m. Homer was born in Butte, Montana, May 6, 1912 and was an only child. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Chief Yeoman and after the war began a work career in the Detroit, MI area. He moved to Albuquerque in 1980. He was active in the Temple Lodge #6 AF & AM, OES Adan Chapter #5, Scottish Rite Bodies of Valley at Detroit, A.A.O.N.M.S Moslem Shrine Temple Oasis of Detroit. He is survived by a cousin, Thomas Anderson and wife, Sue, of Chattanooga, TN; niece, Millicent Lewellen and husband, Bill of Plymouth, MI; Leona Roth of Albuquerque; Larry Jordan of Albuquerque, Gerry Jordan of Aurora, CO; and Randy Early of Albuquerque who was a close friend and neighbor who cared for Homer for the past several years. A service will be at Sunset Chapel, 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, November 6, 2001. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE is in charge of his arrangements.
