Barbara Hughes, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2001. She is survived by her sons, David Smith of Moriarty, and Paul Smith of Hartfield, VA; daughters, Peggy Livermore and husband, Hugh of Aurora, CO, and Susan Parsons of Moriarty; five grandchildren; brother, Robert Katilas of Yamhill, OR; and father, Peter Katilas of OR. Barbara was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and of the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps.
