Esther (Sally) Francia, 30 years of age, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2001 in Albuquerque after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Francia and stepbrother, Manuel Francia. She is survived by her children, Daniel and Jerry Francia and Cheyanne Herrera; her lifelong companion, Thomas Herrera; mother, Shirley Martinez; mother-in-law, Irene Aragon; half sister, Sylvia Ortega and husband, Albert; half brother, Fidencio Francia; stepfather, Eleuterio Francia; stepsisters, Julia Francia and Eleanor Velasquez and husband, Robert; stepbrothers, Leo and Frank Francia; brother-in-law, Damion Aragon and fiance, Michelle Rascon and daughter, Karina; aunts, Celestina Nieto and Louisa Chavez, Louisa Gonzales, Melba Scott, Liz Montano and Millie Salguero; best friends, Twila Lucero, Lori Baca, Lidia Baca and Gloria Chavez and numerous friends and relatives. Pallbearers will be Damion Aragon, Victor Gonzales, Billy Gonzales, Leo Francia, Daniel Martinez and Michael Duran. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Conrad, the Brothers of the Good Shepherd and Jimmy Chavez. Rosary will be held at Holy Child Parish, Tijeras, NM on Friday, November 23, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be recited by Father John Carney on Saturday, November 24, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the"Sally's" Children at Holy child Parish, PO Box 130 Tijeras, NM 87059, C/O Irene Aragon.
