Mr. Tony H. Aranda, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 17, 2001 with his loving family at his side. Mr. Aranda is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-nine years, Helen; his 11 children, Patty Garcia and husband, Alfonso, Sarah Vandeveer, Pete Aranda and wife, Dolores, Robert Aranda and wife, Anna, Ross Aranda and wife, Lorraine, Richard Aranda and wife, Cecilia, Joe Aranda and wife, Theresa, Manuel Aranda and wife, Angie, Helen Madrid and husband, Augustine, Azelle Garcia and husband, Salvador and Martin Aranda and Janet Sanchez; 39 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Leonardini and husband, Jack of Livermore, CA and Sylvia Lucero of Pleasanton, Ca; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Aranda was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 23, 2001 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW at 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Raymond, Joel and Jeremy A. Garcia, Daniel, Robert John, Mike, David, Eddie, Adam, Nick, Eric, Matt, Martin Jr. and Jon Mikal Aranda. In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to the organization of your choice. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW in charge of arrangements.
