Earnest T. Benjamin went home to the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2001. He was the proud owner of J & B Sweeping and Striping Company for many years in Albuquerque. Mr. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Joyce Benjamin; daughters, Janice Hamilton of Seattle, WA, Lisa Benjamin of Denver, CO; sons, Boyd Benjamin, Rory Benjamin and Warren Benjamin, all of Denver, CO; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Fezell Benjamin and wife, Vivian Faye of Colorado Springs, CO; mother-in-law, Luella Flournoy of Micanopy, FL; many brother-in-laws; and sister-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Services will be held Monday, March 5, 2001 10:00 a.m., at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE, with Rev. W.M. Brown officiating. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
