Our beloved Bennie A. Montoya went peacefully to be with our Lord on September 30, 2001. His son, David preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha; four children and their spouses, Paul and Lynn Montoya, Elaine Montoya and Becky Padilla, Melinda and Curtis Ralston, Lisa and Jim Ellis; and eight grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. His brother, Fr. Juan Montoya, OFM will celebrate mass of the Resurrection, Wednesday, 12:00 noon at St. Thomas Aquinas in Rio Rancho. Memorial Masses In lieu of flowers.
