Maureen Lillian Bigley, 75, cherished mother, grandmother, nana went with her angels after a long illness to be reunited with her beloved husband of 44 years, John P. Bigley on the morning of of September 30, 2001 in Rio Rancho, NM. She began her journey home surrounded by her loving family, at home. She was born November 21, 1925 in London, England, and came to America a British War Bride on the Queen Mary and continued to build her family in Gallup, NM. She became a naturalized American in 1957. She and her husband lovingly raised eight children that grew into the large Bigley Clan. She is survived by her eight children, Jeffery Bigley and wife, Aline, of Albuquerque, Avril Stamps and husband, Jack of Albuquerque, David Bigley and wife, Gretchen of Gallup, Jacqueline Bigley of Albuquerque, Maureen Perseo of Albuquerque, Johnny Bigley and wife, Karen of Midland, TX, Paul Bigley and wife, Barbara of Fountain Hills, AZ and Heather Storer and husband, Mat of Rio Rancho, NM; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. a Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at the Rollie Mortuary in Gallup, NM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2001, 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Gallup, NM, Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup, NM. Pallbearers will be David Bigley, Jeffery Bigley, Johnny Bigley, Paul Bigley, Jack Stamps and Mat Storer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ian Bigley, Jonathan Bigley, Lance Bigley, Paul Bigley, John Perseo, Mike Perseo, and Jarred Storer. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders, 1330 San Pedro NE #205 Albuquerque, NM Rollie Mortuary of Gallup is in charge of arrangements.
