No thunder crashed, Nor lightning flashed. But sitting at his bedside, His wife, son, and daughters, Watched while he died. Out in the living room, The rest of his family, Sat in silent gloom, Waiting for the word, that would take him from their world. So sad is a death, When he breathes his last breath.
