Josephine M. "Jo" Petty devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 13, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Petty of San Francisco, Ca.; sons, Michael Brannen and Phillip Petty both of Albuquerque, NM; and grandchildren, Jessica and Cameron Petty; siblings, Margaret Valdez of Fairview, NM, Pat Cleavinger and husband, Herb, Mary Ladner and husband, Bob, Joe L. Martinez and wife, Candy, Fran Bonnet and husband, Frank all of Albuquerque, NM, and Isaac Martinez and wife, Mary of Stanton, CA, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Petty, mother and father, Laura and Felipe Martinez, brothers, Felipe and John Martinez, and sister, Dolores M. Garcia. A Rosary will be heard on Monday, February 19, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday morning February 20, 2001 at 10:00 a.m., also at Risen Savior. The family would like to thank all those who have been so understanding and supportive; your kindness will be remembered always. Cremation services provided by Sunrise Society.
