Obituary for Peralta

Corrine L. Peralta, 53, a gentle, kind, generous, and lovely lady peacefully passed away while surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 15, 2001. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melcor and Leonela Lujan. Corrine is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Roberto of the family home in Jarales; two special daughters, Genevieve Sedillo and her husband, Tommy of Los Chavez; and Denise Campbell and her husband, Martin Jr, of Silver City, NM; two grandchildren, Sabrina Baca and Tommy Sedillo; four sisters, Anna Chavez and her husband, Manuel of Torreon, NM, Nellie Gutierrez and her husband, Manuel of Los Lunas, Theresa Lujan and her husband, Tony of Albuquerque, Maggie Lujan of Torreon; four brothers, Melcor and his wife, Fedelina of Albuquerque; Bill and his wife, Nancy of Torreon; Frank and his wife, Lupe of Peralta; and Albert and his wife, Jane of Los Lunas. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, and all of her loving friends whom she considered her extended family. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip, and Chris Peralta, Ray Benavidez, Leo Chavez, Michael Lujan, and Floyd Gutierrez. Romero Funeral Home, Belen, NM.
