Lola Engle, born February 19, 1910, passed away at her home on February 12, 2001 after a long struggle with cancer. Formerly of Billings, MT, Lola moved to Albuquerque in 1998 to be close to family. Survivors include one son, Jerry Lund and wife, Terry of Bates City, MO; two step-sons, Robert Engle and his wife, Gaye of Poulson, MT and Ronald Engle and wife, Barbara of Minnetrista, MN; brother, Charles and wife, Geri of Carmichael, CA; sister, Beulah Davis and husband, Keith of Wadena, MN, six grandchildren, including, Cyndi Carter and husband, Mike of Albuquerque, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ross Engle, brother, Kenneth and sister, Dorothy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Unity Church, 9800 Candelaria N.E. French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E.
