Edna F. Shows, 88, born August 12, 1912 in Arkansas, lived in Albuquerque and died in Clovis, NM on January 7, 2001 after a long stay in Plain Memorial Hospital due to a dog scratch on her right arm. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara F. Swindle of Ottawa Lake, MI and Beverly F. Douglas of Albuquerque, NM. Edna was a long time resident of Alamogordo, NM. She owned Edna's Beauty Shop on 9th St. Her husband, James M. Shows was employed at White Sands Proving Grounds. James preceded Edna in death ten years ago. Edna was laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park with James. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
