Gerald A. M.D., 53, died at home in Poland Spring, Maine on January 20, 2001 following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Montgomery was a former resident of Albuquerque where he practiced medicine from 1975 to 1994. He and his family moved to Maine in 1994 where he entered into work as a full-time volunteer medical missionary and evangelist for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include his wife, Connie Uszuko Montgomery; two sons, Bradley and Royce Montgomery; two brothers, Royce and his wife, Jane, Roger and his wife, Margrit Montgomery; two nephews and one niece. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church, Oxford, Maine.
