Obituary for Howard

Victoria C. Howard, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2001. She was born December 18, 1917 and grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. In 1969, she married John Dow Howard, Jr. and moved to Apache Junction, Arizona. She worked for Roger's Corporation in Mesa, Arizona until her retirement. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and the Oriental Shrine and was a member of East Mesa Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Dow Howard, Jr. of Los Lunas; her brother and sister-in-law, Gid and Dorothy Crum and her sister, Cuzzie Kilgore, all of Huntington, West Virginia; her stepchildren, Carol Cline and husband, Mike, J.D. Howard III and wife, Frances, Dianne Whiteman, Lori Clay and husband, Calvin, and Robin Howard, all from New Mexico; her niece, Flora Jean Miller and nephew, George Kilgore and wife, Susie; her grandchildren, Michael Cline, Jr., and wife, Christi, Melissa Hardin and husband, Terry, Michele Luetters and husband, Byron, Cheryl and Lisa Clay and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rio Rancho Funeral Home followed by interment in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
