Obituary for Winkler

Nancy Lou Winkler, 62, fell asleep in the arms of the Good Shepherd on March 13, 2003. She will be missed by her beloved husband of 24 years, David P. Winkler of Rio Rancho. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Schultz; 3 sisters, Dorothy Reimer, Delores Schroeder and Betty Skinner; and her brother, Gordon Schultz. She is survived by her sisters, Norma Rabe of Polar, WI and Rose (George) Mayer of Greenfield, Wisconsin; mother-in-law, Adeline M. Winkler of West Allis, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 305 Unser Blvd. in Rio Rancho, with The Rev. Donald H. Neidigk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nancy Winkler Memorial Fund, c/o 1550 Sandy Lane Ct. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124. The donations received will be distributed to Calvary Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho, St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar, Wisconsin and Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice in Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar, WI on the Easter Vigil, April 19, 2003.
