Obituary for Dobbs

Flora Theresa Hetzel-Dobbs passed away March 17, 2003. She was 91. Flora was born on September 5, 1911 to Carl and Anna Hetzel of Grand Haven, MI. She graduated from Grand Haven Sr. High and Western Michigan State University to become an Elementary School Teacher. To continue her career, she then moved to California where she met and married Landon Dobbs. Ms. Dobbs is survived by her three sons, David M. Dobbs of White Pass, Alaska, Richard Dobbs and his wife, Cathy of Albuquerque and Jeff Dobbs and his wife, Carolyn of Albuquerque; sister, Vivian Nygron of Tucson AZ; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons of Philadelphia. For all that knew Flora they remember her to be full of life and enjoyed being with her friends and family. Her greatest treasures were her three sons. She worked very hard to ensure that they all grew to be healthy and strong men. She was cremated in Albuquerque on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 and her ashes will be returned to Grand Haven, MI Where a private family Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to a Children's Hospital in Honor of Flora Theresa Hetzel-Dobbs would be greatly appreciated. Mom, thank you for a job well done. You will be missed, God Bless you, your sons.
