Obituary for Eastridge

Mildred J. Eastridge, 88, lived with her daughter, Gretchen for the past eight years; she had resided in Beaverdam, VA for over 60 years. Mildred was called home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on February 6, 2003. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Eastridge; two sons, David Gordon and Arden Johnson; and an infant daughter, Joyce Angela; brother; and two sisters. Mildred is survived by a son, Terrence"Terry" Eastridge of Beaverdam, VA; daughters, Gretchen Dickinson and Ann Cannon Majors both of Rio Rancho, NM; as well as three sisters, Mary Lynn"Lindy" Richards of Huffman, TX, Marguerite"DeDe" Hunter of Hickory, NC and Frances"Sammie" Scally of La Mesa, CA. There are 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and too many nieces and nephews to mention. Mildred was active in all their lives, cherished by all who knew her, and will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Rio West Communities Church in Rio Rancho, 6751 Pasilla Rd. (Hwy 528 across from River's Edge II).
