Parviz Shams-Avari, M.D, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died on Friday, January 31, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Shams-Avari of Albuquerque; son, Peter Shams-Avari and wife, Chylon of Albuquerque; daughter, Rachael Shams-Avari-Weisbard and husband, Lee of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Robert ¯Bo¯ Fleming of Albuquerque, Sarah Weisbard and Joshua Shams-Avari-DeMers both of Tucson, AZ; and brother, Richard Avari and wife, Joan of New York, NY.
