Obituary for Kumley

Nelle L. Kumley was born on March 26, 1940 in Trinidad, CO. She went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2003. Her Going Home Celebration will be on January 31, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Center in Pinetop, AZ. Nelle is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Kumley, Jr.; daughters, Esther L. Schmid with husband, Don R., Ruthey Phillips with husband, Walter R.; sons, Charles J. Kumley and wife, Christina and James W. Kumley; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two sisters; one brother; and also by her parents, Clara Mae McAtee and Ernest T. Knox; and one sister-in-law; one brother-in-law; 27 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews. Nelle loved her family and friends. She and her husband were missionaries to the Navajos in Sanders, AZ for over ten years and in Concho, AZ for over three years and pastured in the Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day, AZ for over five years. Her heart was in the missions, wanting to win the whole world for the Jesus she held so dear and close to her heart.
