Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday January 31, 2003

Angelic Garcia January 31, 1975 - March 4, 2001Angelic, on this day of your birth, we remember you and honor you with a garden dedicated in your memory. It seems like just yesterday we watched you sliding into home base and the memory of your beautiful smile that would brighten every room. We have missed you so much since you were taken away, but now we will have a place to remember you in a very special way. May those who sit in this garden find comfort and peace as they sense that special love of yours that you always showed to everyone. We hope everyone who sees this very special place remembers those who have gone before you while proudly serving and protecting their community. Let the meaning of their lives live on in us. Now you have a beautiful garden that stands as a testament of your true self because every time a flower blooms we will think of you. May the light that you have shared with us shine in our own lives, hearts, and memories. May it help us find the courage and the faith we need each day to carry on. We give our sincerest thanks to everyone who made this Angelic S. Garcia Memorial Garden come to life. We want to express our sincerest thanks to Sheriff Joe Bowdich, County Commissioners, and Parks and Rec., as well as Angelic's fellow peers and co-workers for helping to keep her memory alive. Love, Dad, Mom and Mikey
