John A. Gallegos, 64, went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2003. He was born on August 23, 1938 in Maes, NM. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Isidro Gallegos; sister, Virginia Crawford; and two grandsons, Jordan and Adrian McDermott. He is survived by his wife, Dora Gallegos; one son, Raymond Gallegos and wife, Sandra; three daughters, Rosella Lusk and husband John, Juanita McDermott and husband, Robert and Roberta Sanchez and husband, Tim; three step-sons, Mike Leyba and wife, Lena, Anthony Leyba and wife, Nicole an David Leyba; one step-daughter, Denise Tapia and husband, Donny; mother, Rosita Gallegos; two brothers, Dave Gallegos and wife, Karen and Rudy Gallegos; three sisters, Ruth Casados, Eleanor Lucero and husband, Al and Vita Martin and husband, Wally; 24 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Gallegos will be deeply missed by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Family Worship Center, 5200 Iliff NW, with Pastor Steve Ulibarri officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Sanchez, John Lusk, Robert McDermott, Damian Gallegos, Ray Gallegos Jr., John A. Sanchez and Joaquin Martinez.
