Bertha"Bert" Walker, 83, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Randall, Jody Pelot and Ida Woods of Albuquerque and Anna Bates of Florida; brother, Dallas Wells of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Christine, David and Sean and their mother, Beth Walker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Walker; and son, Allen Walker. Bert was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She worked for Greyhound Bus Co. for over 20 years. Services will be held Monday, January 20th,10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE, with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Contributions may be made to Central United Methodist Church Youth Group, 1615 Copper NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
