Maria O."Laura" Garcia, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2003. She joined the Lord and her two sons, Robert and Glen; and her two grandchildren, Robert A. and Ashley. Maria is survived by her husband, Manuel Garcia; daughter, Marylee Austin and husband, Bill; son, Manuel Garcia, Jr. and wife, Carole; grandchildren, Marisa Martinez and husband, Joel; Brianna and Manuel Garcia III; great-grandchildren, Briza and Stephanie Martinez and Jiosne Pinette; mother, Estella De Luna; five brothers and sisters. Mrs. Garcia was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She will also truly be missed by her endless list of family and friends. Mrs. Garcia was truly someone that touched and blessed everyone's life. Thank you Lord for sharing her with us. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass services are pending. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family would like to thank their many family, friends and relatives whose sympathy and thoughtfulness will greatly be remembered and deeply appreciated, she will be missed.
