Obituary for Ross

Helen K. Ross, 95, a resident of Albuquerque for 64 years, died Monday, January 6, 2003. She is survived by her son, Charles Ross and wife, Carmel and their children, Frank and wife, Claire; Sandra, Patrick and wife, Sherry, Albert and wife, Michele; and Katherine and husband, Marlon, all of San Jose, CA; daughter, Louellen Baldoni and husband, Robert and their children, Mary and husband, Jeff; Anne, John and wife, Lucia; Joe and Gina; son, Ronald Ross and wife, Jane and their children, Michael and wife, Kelly; and Katie, all of Albuquerque; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband Carl A. Ross in 1949; and brother, Charles Daggs. She graduated St. Anthony¯s Nursing School in 1928 in Denver, CO, and worked as a registered nurse in Denver until 1935. Mrs. Ross married Carl in 1934. They moved to New Jersey and in 1938 the family moved to Albuquerque. She worked as an RN at St. Joseph Hospital for one year and then worked at Santa Fe Railroad Hospital, retiring in 1972 as a supervisor. Mrs. Ross and her husband were founding members of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Cremation will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Health Care Foundation, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Inpatient Unit, P.O.
