Obituary for Keranen

Tauno E. Keranen, 79, a resident of Cedar Crest, died on Monday, January 6, 2003. Tauno was born and raised in Ironwood, MI and moved to Albuquerque in 1947 where he worked at Rio Grande Steel. He was greatly loved and is survived by his wife, June Garvey Keranen; sons, Bob Keranen of Shelton, WA and Steve Keranen of Cedar Crest; daughter, Norma Keranen and husband, Tom Logan of Cedar Crest; grandchildren, Stuart and Jordan Keranen of Shelton, WA and Iain Logan of Cedar Crest; nieces, Kathleen Kingsbury of Las Vegas, NV, Beverly Davies and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque, and Mary Rupe and husband, Don of Albuquerque; and nephews, James and Barbara Garvey of New York City, NY, and Raymond Garvey III and wife, Jan of Loudon, Tennesee; and by many grand-nieces and nephews and many more friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Alumni Chapel at UNM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Wildlife Rescue of NM, Inc., P.O.
