Obituary for Erdal

Lucretia Billie Thomason Boring Erdal, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Thursday, December 19, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Erdal of Albuquerque; son, Paul R. Thomason and wife, Kathy of Plainfield, IL; granddaughters, Nicole Puhr and husband, Steve of Naperville, IL, Amanda and Heather Thomason of Plainfield, IL. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary F. Thomason; husbands, Albert F. Thomason and Wayne Boring. Lucretia was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She graduated from the University of Illinois. Lucretia was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served as a trustee and consulted on the remodeling of the church for the 50th year anniversary. She worked for Betty Crocker consulting on many cookbooks for them. She worked for the National Lamb Council and started the University of Illinois Home Extension Service. She later on worked as Training Interior Decorator for John M. Smyth Furniture in Chicago before moving to New Mexico with her husband, Al, to retire. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4th, 10:00 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3715 Silver SE, with Pastor Tom Beach and Rev.
