Oleta F. Bishop, age 84 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1979 passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, December 25, 2002. Ms. Bishop was a member of Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church for over 20 years; she and her husband were members of the Odd Fellows & Rebecca's since 1950. Ms. Bishop spent her younger years in Lindrith, NM. Ms. Bishop was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Andrew Bishop; and three grandsons, Eugene Dale Baxter, Terrence Lee Baxter, and Gary Wayne Baxter; and son-in-law, M.E."Eugene" Baxter. Her loving daughter, Glenda Baxter; six sisters; and one brother survive Ms. Bishop. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church.
