Patricia Anita Garza, 41, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on December 24, 2002. Patty was born on October 31, 1961 in Washington DC. She grew up in Arlington, VA, and spent most of her adult life in Washington DC. Patty recently relocated to Albuquerque, NM to be closer to her family. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dix Garza; and by her companion of 14 years, Raymond"Quentin" Wateski. Patty is survived by her mother, Marjorie O. Garza; sister, Boni Galarneau and brother-in-law, William Galarneau; son, Brandon Garza; nephews, Adam and Skip Galarneau, all of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Jonathan Sean Haynes of CA; daughter, Desha¯Rae Platz of WV; many aunts and cousins. Patty's life on this earthy was short. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends. Patty is no longer suffering, but resting in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, her new found Savior. Her family wishes to thank those special, caring and compassionate workers from the Halquist Memorial Hospice Center, Albuquerque Manor Care, and Zia Hospice. They made Patty¯s last few months on this earth very comfortable. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will immediately follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Patty's name, to Food and Friends, 58 L.
