Weeta Bowen, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, a former 60 year resident of Taos, NM, died Saturday, December 15, 2001. Mrs. Bowen is survived by her sons, Jimmy Leroy Bowen and wife, Shirley of Roswell, NM, Douglas Bowen and wife, Mary, and Dan Bowen and wife, Carri all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, David Bowen and wife, Debbie, Gerald Bowen and wife, Shelley, Cheryl Fong and husband, Michael, Doug Bowen and wife, Linda, Debbie Cruz and husband, Art, Amy Bowen and Ashley Bowen; great- grandchildren, April, Jana, Chrissy, Kelsey and Jailen; sisters, Sadie Miller and Kitty Childers and husband, Virgil; brothers, Neil Stromberg and wife, Marie and Dempsey Stromberg and wife, Delaine; sisters-in-law, Mildred Stromberg and Viola Van Gundy. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy G. Bowen. Services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho, officiating.
