Obituary for Duncan

Lonnie E. Duncan, 81, a resident of Los Lunas, NM. died peacefully at home on December 17, 2001. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine in 1969, a son, Lonnie Jr. and a daughter, Shirley. He is survived by his sister, Gertrude Harris of San Antonio, NM.; four daughters, Paula Williams and husband, Kenny of Albuquerque, Linda Julian of Los Lunas, Debbie Lowe and husband, Mike of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sherry Lopez and husband, Mark of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren. Lonnie was a retired Master Sergeant in the USAF with 22 years of service. He was a long-standing member of the American Bowling Congress and always enjoyed bowling with his family, and was a devoted baseball fan. Lonnie was a kind, easy- going man and will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Albuquerque Bible Church, 320 Montano NW. on Thursday, December 20, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
