Obituary for Russell

Martin N. Russell, 59, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Saturday, February 22, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Russell; daughters, Cynthia Carter and husband, Paul of Antelope, CA, and Maresa Russell of Albuquerque; brother, Charles Russell and wife, Rita of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Jordan and Jeremiah Carter of Antelope, CA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved the speed of motorcycles, cars and boats. Martin retired from the Albuquerque Police Department in 1985 after 18 years of service. He was currently a driver of Yellow Freight Systems. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 492. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, February, 25, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd., NW, with Debbie Kuidis, officiating.
