Georgia W. Metz, 88, a resident of Belen, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Wilma Stanton of New Mexico and Jeanne Brixey and husband, Bud of Albuquerque; son, Noble C. Metz, Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter-in-law, Katherine Metz of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Noble III, Michael, Robert, Bruce, Elizabeth, and Erica; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Metz was preceded in death by her husband, Noble C. Metz, Sr.; and son, Richard Metz. She loved to travel with her husband, Noble in Central and South America and they traveled down the Amazon River in their 70's. Mrs. Metz loved many different kinds of art and antiques. Services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Lemuel M. Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
