Obituary for Brito

Aurelio Brito, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Juanita Baca and husband, Adam; grandchildren, Jennifer Mares, Clarissa Villalobos, Esther Losa, Brandt Brito and Rachael Baca; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Efren Brito and wife, Margaret, Bennie Brito and wife, Lourdes, and Art Orlando Brito and wife, Mary Lou; sister, Madeline Brito-Diaz; and sister-in-law, Ruth Brito. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Brito; sons, Henry and Gilbert Brito; grandson, Henry Brito, Jr.; sister, Maria Brito; and brother, Alfonso Brito. Aurelio was a veteran of WWII. He worked as a butcher for several supermarkets in town. He retired from DOE, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Aurelio was married for 72 years. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
