Richard Wayne. Richard Wayne Lightfoot, born December 23, 1965, in Carrizozo, New Mexico, passed away on March 5, 2003, at his home in Albuquerque. Richard was a teacher at Dennis Chavez Elementary and had been there since August of 1992. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Waymon and one uncle, Edward. Richard is survived by his mother, Dorothy Nell and grandmother, Dorothy of Corona. Two Uncles, George and wife Margaret of Corona, Wayne and wife Karen of Animas and a Cousin, Tomee of Las Cruces. also cousins: Clay, Bonnie and Mackenzie of Moriarty, Cody and Shannon of Edgewood. Also Denise, Scott and Allison of Martin, Travis and RoeAnne of Corona, Tye, Julie and Kallen of Las Cruces. Also, JoLynn and Shannon of Artesia, Allen, Marti, Eric and Sara of Roswell and Michelle and Monica of Scotsdale, Arizona. also surviving him are, his great aunt, Jimmie Hazen, their sons, James and wife Gay and family of Tucumcari Jerry and wife Donna and family of Mesquero. Also great uncles Otis Mabry of Lovington and his daughter Linda and Husband Verlin Smith and family of Midland, Texas. Earl Maynard and family of Ft. Towson and many many very special friends. Memorial Services will be held at the Corona Presbyterian Church in Corona on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 10:30 a.m.. Rev. Cal West of the Baptist Church of Corona will officiate.
